A 35-year-old transgender individual, Radhika Mohan Jadhav, ended her life at a government hospital in Nagpur, as reported by the police on Thursday. Her demise comes almost a month after she lost both legs in a train accident.

Radhika, originally from Amravati district, reportedly took her own life using a bandage cloth to hang from her hospital bed. The tragic incident occurred after she fell from a moving train, resulting in severe injuries that led to the amputation of her legs.

Following the accident, she was initially treated at Irwin Hospital in Amravati before being transferred to the Government Medical College and Hospital in Nagpur. Authorities have registered an accidental death case as they continue to investigate the event's circumstances.
