JSW Energy Soars with 38% Profit Surge in FY26
JSW Energy reported a 38% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 574 crore for Q4 FY26, driven by higher revenues of Rs 4,851 crore. The company's growth was fueled by contributions from Mahanadi, O2 Power acquisitions, and organic capacity additions, increasing installed capacity to 13.45 GW.
JSW Energy has announced a remarkable 38% surge in its consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 574 crore for the fourth quarter of FY2025-26. The impressive growth is largely attributed to increased revenues, which soared to Rs 4,851 crore, a significant rise from last year's Rs 3,497 crore for the same period.
The company's substantial revenue growth is driven by its strategic moves, including contributions from Mahanadi and O2 Power, as well as substantial organic capacity additions. During this period, JSW Energy increased its installed capacity by 118 MW, bringing its total to 13.45 GW.
JSW Energy reports that power sales increased by 48% YoY, with thermal and renewable energy sectors both showing impressive gains. Net long-term PPA sales rose by 25% YoY, highlighting the company's solid financial performance in translating its strategy into tangible business outcomes.
