NEET-UG 2026 Exam Canceled: CBI Probes Alleged Paper Leak

This revelation prompted the NTA to cancel the exam to protect the fairness for all candidates. The agency also urged a CBI probe to ensure thorough investigation into the paper leak allegations.

The controversy intensified in Maharashtra, where CBI teams sought custody of Shubham Khairnar, who was earlier detained concerning the leak. Authorities are investigating claims of a 'guess paper' with over 410 questions being in circulation. The central government decided to cancel the exam after coordinating with law enforcement on discovered discrepancies.
