Uber Chief Executive Officer Dara Khosrowshahi met with Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, revealing plans to establish Uber's inaugural data center in India. Partnering with the Adani Group, this initiative aims to enhance the company's technological endeavors globally, Khosrowshahi outlined in a recent social media post.

The CEO emphasized India's emerging role as a pivotal innovation hub for Uber. Set to launch by the end of the year, this investment will bolster Uber's ability to scale operations worldwide, leveraging India's tech framework. Gautam Adani echoed this sentiment, celebrating Uber's impressive performance and growing alliances globally.

Additionally, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi urged Uber to facilitate a shift to electric vehicles among drivers and fleet owners in line with India's green mobility goals. These discussions occurred during the CII Annual Business Summit, reflecting ongoing government engagement with industry leaders on sustainable and consumer-oriented practices.
