Egypt announces oil and gas discovery in western desert

​Agiba ‌Petroleum, a ​joint venture between the ‌Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation and Italy's Eni, ‌has made its ‌largest discovery in the Western Desert in ⁠15 ​years, ⁠Egypt's petroleum ministry said ⁠on Thursday.

Preliminary estimates put ​discovered reserves at ⁠330 billion cubic feet of ⁠gas ​and 10 million barrels ⁠of condensates and crude ⁠oil, ⁠the ministry said.
