West Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh delivered a strong critique of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Friday, asserting that the party is on a path to disintegration. Addressing reporters, Ghosh alleged that the TMC engaged in widespread looting of central and state welfare funds, demanding legal action against its leadership.
Ghosh underscored the systemic corruption within the TMC, declaring, "Corruption is prevailing in TMC from top to bottom. Leaders made fortunes at the expense of public funds intended for welfare schemes." He highlighted the importance of Indian citizenship for accessing welfare programs, referring to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) as a measure for Hindu refugees lacking citizenship.
The BJP leader further accused TMC of orchestrating job racketeering and operational inefficiencies. He cited examples such as the reduced output of the Mother Dairy and the division of organizations to facilitate bribery, identifying ministers and associates as the culprits. Ghosh urged non-citizens to register for benefits to avoid exclusion.
