STF Cracks Down on Recruitment Exam Fraudsters in UP
The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force has apprehended two individuals, Raju Kumar Manjhi and Chhote Lal Yadav, for allegedly deceiving candidates of the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam. Seized items include admit cards, mobile phones, and documents. The operation was supervised by DSP Shailesh Pratap Singh and is under further investigation.

The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) successfully dismantled a fraudulent operation by arresting the main orchestrator, Raju Kumar Manjhi, along with his accomplice, Chhote Lal Yadav. The duo is accused of duping candidates of the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam by promising success through illicit means.
In a meticulously planned operation on June 10, the STF apprehended the suspects in Badagaon village, Jaunpur district. Authorities confiscated crucial evidence, including 21 photocopied admit cards, mobile phones, bank cheque photocopies, identification documents, and WhatsApp chat records.
The crackdown, led by Inspector Jai Prakash Rai and overseen by DSP Shailesh Pratap Singh, unveiled how the suspects allegedly extorted money from candidates seeking shortcuts to exam success. Manjhi, with prior fraud charges, faces new accusations under IPC Sections 406, 419, and 420. Local police continue the investigation.
