Air India Express has initiated direct flights between Pune and Amritsar, enhancing connectivity between these diverse cultural hubs. The inaugural flight took off on June 15, offering travelers a seamless travel experience to Amritsar, famed for its spiritual significance, culinary richness, and historical landmarks.

Passengers can now access a range of services, including 'Gourmair' hot meals and Xpress Ahead priority services, by booking via the airline's website, mobile app, or major booking platforms. The new route features daily flights departing Pune at 01:20 hrs and reaching Amritsar by 04:10 hrs, with return flights leaving Amritsar at 05:00 hrs, arriving in Pune at 07:50 hrs.

This development further positions Amritsar with its Golden Temple and vibrant cultural experiences as a prime leisure destination while promoting Pune's dual legacy of historical allure and contemporary metropolitan dynamism. Air India Express now facilitates 105 weekly flights from Pune and 24 from Amritsar, further expanding its domestic and international network.
