Investigation team twisting facts to accuse Moscow of MH17 crash - report

Russian Foreign Ministry has made a statement that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) had twisted facts in order to accuse Moscow of the 2014 downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17. according to media reports. The ministry reportedly pointed out that Russia had presented important data related to the incident but the investigation team has repeatedly ignored the crucial information and "concealed it during JIT press events, which more resembled propaganda political shows". Russia which was accused of the involvement in the crash of the plane was not made a part of the investigation. But according to reports Moscow has confirmed that it is ready to cooperate with the team but stressed that the probe must be impartial and avoid politically-motivated and baseless accusations

The plane was shot down by a missile while on July 17, 2014, when it was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. The plane was shot when it was over territory held by pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine. An international investigative team set up to look into the crash named three Russians and one Ukrainian last month as suspects in the murder of the 298 people on board.
