Royal Air Force Typhoon jets deployed to intercept Russian bomber, jets

Royal Air Force Typhoon jets have been deployed to intercept a Russian TU-95 'bear' bomber and two planes on Thursday, according to Mirror Breaking News.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reportedly said the Russian planes were "heading west close to Estonian airspace". The RAF planes have handed the escort over to Finish and Swedish QRA aircraft, according to reports.

Royal Air Force Typhoon fighter jets intercepted five Russian military aircraft in the first two days of this week; four after launching on Monday and another on Tuesday.
On Monday the fighter jets intercepted a Russian Antonov AN-26 "Curl" transport aircraft. Following this and on the same mission, the fighters later diverted to intercept a Russian TU-142 "Bear" Bomber and two SU-27B "Flanker" fighters. On Tuesday the Typhoons intercepted a Russian Tupolev TU-134 "Crusty" transport aircraft flying close to Estonian airspace. The Typhoons were operating from Ämari Air Base in Estonia in support of NATO's Baltic Air Policing mission.
