Trump says working with airlines on coronavirus tests for people who fly

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday said the administration is working with airlines to establish coronavirus testing programs for people who fly.

The coronavirus pandemic has devastated the airline industry as people across the country stay home and avoid planes and airports. Travel demand has fallen by more than 95% because of the coronavirus pandemic and airports are trying to cut costs to stay in business. The airlines must maintain minimum service levels in exchange for getting cash grants from the U.S. Treasury to assist in payroll costs, unless the department issues a waiver.
