Brazil reports 35,785 new coronavirus cases, 1,480 deaths in 24 hours

Brazil recorded 35,785 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, along with 1,480 deaths from COVID-19, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
Brazil has registered more than 13.5 million cases since the pandemic began, while the official death toll has risen to 354,617, according to ministry data.
