WHO chief says all must play part to beat COVID in Olympic message

World Health Organization head Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a message on Twitter on Tuesday that COVID-19 can be defeated "but only if everyone plays their part."

"Glad to be in Japan to address the International Olympics Committee," Tedros said in a tweet. "May these Tokyo 2020 Olympics be a source of hope and unity to achieve vaccine equity and end the pandemic."
