MSD Pharmaceuticals and the IPL team Delhi Capitals have joined forces in a campaign to heighten cervical cancer awareness across India. The partnership was announced on Saturday, aiming to utilize the popular platform of women's sports for widespread educational outreach.

The campaign's core objective is to educate women and their families on the importance of preventive health measures to combat cervical cancer. A significant element of this initiative is the visibility of the message during the women's T20 championship, prominently displayed on the players' jerseys.

Cervical cancer, attributed largely to HPV, continues to be a major health issue in India with over 1,23,000 cases annually. Through this partnership, MSD Pharmaceuticals seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding the disease, increase access to vital information, and motivate proactive health actions.
