In a significant call for improvement, President Droupadi Murmu has advocated for the development of more inclusive healthcare facilities in Bihar. Speaking at the centenary event of Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), President Murmu emphasized the need for Bihar to bolster its medical infrastructure.

Highlighting achievements, she noted the efforts undertaken by the Bihar government. However, she urged the PMCH to collaborate with other national hospitals, particularly in the realms of cancer treatment and serious ailments research. Established on February 25, 1925, the Prince of Wales Medical College, now known as PMCH, holds a pivotal place in healthcare history.

President Murmu's visit to Bihar, met with highest protocol, underscores the gravity of her message. Accompanied by Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, she emphasized the future steps for medical advancements before her scheduled departure to Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday.
