The Ministry of Women and Child Development has announced the launch of a new toll-free helpline number, 1515, to replace the current one for beneficiaries of the POSHAN and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) schemes.
Effective from November 1, this change aims to streamline assistance and improve accessibility under the flagship nutrition and maternal welfare programs. During the transition period, the existing number 14408 can still be used if callers face issues connecting to the new line.
This initiative underscores the ministry's commitment to providing uninterrupted communication and support for beneficiaries nationwide.
