The National Institute of Ayurveda, based in Jaipur, will be in the international spotlight as it presents Ayush-based innovations and scientific research at the 2025 Ayush World Health Organisation Summit.

Scheduled to run from December 17 to 19 in New Delhi, the summit will see participation from more than 113 countries, according to Professor Sanjeev Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of the institute. The theme, 'Restoring Balance: Science and Practice of Health and Well-being', highlights the rising global interest in evidence-backed traditional medicine.

The event, orchestrated by the Ministry of Ayush in collaboration with WHO, will feature ministers, policymakers, researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders worldwide. A significant focus will be a special session dedicated to Ashwagandha, a prominent medicinal plant in India's traditional medicine, demonstrating its therapeutic relevance and its potential integration into global health systems.
