A shop owner in Noida faces an FIR after multiple residents reportedly became ill from consuming buckwheat flour, often used during Mahashivratri fasts, police sources said Tuesday.
Concerns emerged after inhabitants of Supertech Ecovillage-3, Royal Court Society, and Himalaya Pride Society encountered health issues post-consumption. Authorities were alerted by a local hospital on Monday concerning these incidents.
Subsequent inquiries led to the sealing of Prashant General Store in Royal Court Society, found lacking compliance, and the HD Spices warehouse in Chipiyana Buzurg. Ongoing investigations have resulted in the detention of four individuals linked to this production chain.
