In a significant effort to prioritize senior citizen well-being, Punjab's 'Sade Buzurg, Sada Maan' initiative successfully registered 37,000 elderly citizens at specialized health check-up camps.

Spearheaded by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and announced by Punjab minister Baljit Kaur, the camps focus on comprehensive elderly healthcare. Services ranged from eye examinations to cancer screenings, with a commitment to enhancing the dignity and safety of senior citizens.

Minister Kaur reported 1,756 registrations for cataract surgeries, with 539 conducted to date. Altogether, the camps delivered thousands of orthopedic, NCD, and ophthalmic check-ups and distributed 3,014 vision glasses. This initiative is a cornerstone in Punjab's continual drive to uphold the health and respect of its elderly population.
