Last Mile Care Pvt Ltd, a burgeoning healthcare start-up, announced on Wednesday that it has successfully raised close to USD 1 million in a seed funding round masterminded by Philip Foundation's impact investment arm.
Additional support came from World Diabetes Foundation, We Share Forward Foundation, and an assemblage of high-net-worth individual investors. These funds are earmarked to expand the company's reach throughout India and bolster its 'phygital' healthcare ecosystem.
This innovative model seamlessly combines on-site clinics, mobile health units, telemedicine, and AI-enabled digital infrastructure. Focused specifically on enhancing structured and preventive care, the initiative targets the blue- and grey-collar workforce in India.
