A tragic incident unfolded at Central Hospital in Ulhasnagar when a man named Bhagwan Nimbore passed away mid-treatment, prompting his relatives to vandalize the facility early Thursday morning.
In response to the violence, which involved attacking hospital staff and damaging property, doctors and staff staged a brief strike, demanding better security. Their actions underscored the tension following the unfortunate event.
Local officials, including Mayor Ashwini Nikam, assured the staff of stringent action against the perpetrators. The police registered a case, aiming to enhance security, although arrests are yet to be made.
