As stated in an official order, Secretary Shubhanjan Das will now oversee programs such as Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY, Swasthya Sathi, in addition to medical education and infrastructure in colleges. Secretary Sharad Kumar Dwivedi will handle tertiary cancer centre projects and AYUSH, among others.
The changes, which impact various key roles, also allocate responsibilities to Secretary Moumita Godara Basu for the National Health Mission and public health initiatives.
