A revolutionary multispeciality hospital focused solely on women's healthcare has opened its doors in Nehru Enclave. Named The Women's Hospital (TWH), this facility promises to tackle the disparities in accessible and integrated healthcare for women, providing services from adolescence through old age.
The hospital, spearheaded by Anika Parashar and her team, received a USD 5 million investment from The Select Group and Policy Bazaar. It offers a wide range of medical services, including but not limited to gynaecology, obstetrics, IVF, oncology, and mental health counselling. Designed to be a one-stop, judgment-free healthcare space, TWH aims to become a 'healthcare home' for women, providing specialised, preventive, and holistic care.
The facility is equipped with advanced medical infrastructure, such as robotic-assisted surgery and high-resolution prenatal imaging systems. It also features 34 beds, with specific units for neonatal care and labor delivery. Arjun Sharma, Chairman of The Select Group, emphasized the growing demand for healthcare facilities dedicated to women's needs, praising the hospital's patient-focused design and comprehensive care approach.
