In a reassuring development, no new cases of post-caesarean delivery infection have been reported in Kota's New Medical College Hospital (NMCH) and JK Lone Hospitals, following the alleged post-surgery complications that claimed the lives of four women last week.

Dr. RP Meena, NMCH Additional Principal, provided updates on the current status of the affected women. Pinki, who was referred from JK Lone Hospitals, remains in critical condition on a ventilator, while Aarti shows signs of recovery in the ICU with face mask oxygen. The conditions of Sushila, Dhnnobai, and Ragini have stabilized, with Ragini showing significant improvement as her kidney function resumes.

The occurrence of sudden post-C-section complications last week resulted in the deaths of four women, including Payal, 26, and Jyoti Nayak, 19, at NMCH, and Priya Mahawar, 22, and Pinki Mahawar, 30, at JK Lone Hospital. Health officials emphasize heightened vigilance to prevent further incidents.
