Samsung Electronics, South Korea union still at odds over some issues, news reports say

​Samsung ​Electronics and its ‌largest labour ​union in South Korea ‌are still at odds in a pay dispute that has ‌led to threats of ‌a strike, local news reports said on Tuesday citing a ⁠labour commission ​official.

A ⁠few issues remain in contention ⁠as the two sides met ​for the second day on ⁠Tuesday under growing pressure to ⁠reach ​a compromise to avert a strike at the ⁠world's largest memory chipmaker, which is ⁠expected ⁠to start on Thursday.
