We have more work to do to beat this virus and now is not the time to let our guard down." The US in May had announced that the country's adults are completely vaccinated against COVID-19. "As of today, 50 per cent of American adults are fully vaccinated. That's a big deal, folks," Biden tweeted.

The Hill reported that Biden has set a goal of vaccinating 70 per cent of US adults with at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by July 4. While 13 states have reached that threshold, others are lagging behind and Biden appears increasingly unlikely to meet that goal.
