External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar engaged in a telephonic discussion with Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, on Friday, focusing on expanding bilateral relations. Jaishankar shared on social media that the conversation was productive, aiming to develop the relationship further.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba also posted about the discussion, recalling his recent visit to New Delhi and emphasizing the ongoing dialogue. Kuleba mentioned that the talks built on high-level meetings between Indian and Ukrainian leadership, stressing the importance of continuous engagement.
In June, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the G7 Summit in Italy, reiterating India's support for a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict.
