Sharjah Chamber Delegation Boosts Economic Ties in Tunisia, Eyes Collaboration Opportunities

A delegation from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) concluded a fruitful visit to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tunis (CCIT) and other economic entities in Tunisia. They explored ways to bolster joint economic efforts and cooperation between private sector entities in the two countries.
The discussions included the potential participation of Tunisian real estate developers in the upcoming Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition 'ACRES'. The SCCI delegation, led by Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, also included Jamal Saeed Bouzanjal and Sultan Abdullah Al Ali, who met with Mohamed Monsif Ben Jomaa, President of CCIT, and other key officials.
Key issues discussed were bilateral cooperation in economic data exchange, investment opportunities, and event agendas. The delegation also met Tarek Cherif, President of the Tunisian Confederation of Citizen Enterprises (CONECT), to discuss best practices in supporting SMEs. Her Excellency Dr. Eman Al Salami, UAE Ambassador to Tunisia, briefed the delegation on the visit's objectives and outcomes, emphasizing the importance of fostering economic and investment cooperation between the two nations.
Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan reinforced SCCI's commitment to enhancing ties with Tunisia at various industrial and commercial levels. He highlighted exchanging delegations, organizing trade missions, economic forums, and enhancing exhibition sector cooperation as key efforts to boost bilateral trade and economic relations.
The SCCI delegation toured Tunisian real estate companies focusing on environmentally friendly projects and invited them to participate in ACRES 2025 at Expo Center Sharjah.
