Indian Diplomat Named New High Commissioner to Sierra Leone

Baisnab Charan Pradhan has been appointed as India's High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, replacing his role as Deputy Chief of Mission in Brasilia. He will take up his new duties soon.

Baisnab Charan Pradhan, an esteemed Indian diplomat, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Sierra Leone, according to an announcement by the Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday.

Presently serving as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Brasilia, Pradhan was selected to replace the former envoy in the Republic of Sierra Leone.

The Ministry confirmed he is expected to assume his new role shortly, further strengthening diplomatic ties between India and Sierra Leone.
