Tel Aviv, August 7 (ANI/TPS): Israeli leaders have voiced strong condemnation over the appointment of Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas terror leader in Gaza, as the new commander of the militant group.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz stated that Sinwar's rise to power is a compelling reason to eliminate him and dismantle Hamas. Katz branded Sinwar as an arch-terrorist who warrants swift and decisive action.
In an interview with Saudi publication Al-Arabiya, IDF Spokesman Daniel Hagari emphasized that Sinwar, responsible for the October 7 massacre, belongs alongside other deceased Hamas leaders. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reiterated that there is no separation between Hamas' political and terror branches, vowing relentless efforts to hunt down Sinwar.
