Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) will host the 25th International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) World Conference from May 13-16, 2025. This first Middle Eastern edition aims to unite global health experts, policymakers, and educators to address health challenges and promote global wellbeing.

Abu Dhabi is set to host the 25th International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) World Conference, marking the event's first occurrence in the Middle East. Scheduled for May 13-16, 2025, the conference will gather global health experts, policymakers, and educators to discuss pressing health and wellbeing issues.

Dr. Ahmed AlKhazraji, Acting Director-General of Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC), expressed his pride in Abu Dhabi's selection as the host city. He emphasized the event's significance in fostering international collaboration and promoting sustainable health development. 'Hosting the IUHPE World Conference reflects Abu Dhabi's unwavering commitment to health excellence and its role in enhancing global health systems,' Dr. AlKhazraji noted.

The IUHPE World Conference aims to address complex global health challenges, including rising non-communicable diseases, mental health issues, pandemics, and climate change. IUHPE President Sione Tu'itahi highlighted the collaboration with ADPHC and partners like the World Health Organisation in proposing health promotion solutions. 'We face a poly-crisis as one planet and one human family with a common future,' Tu'itahi stated. The conference promises unprecedented stakeholder participation and collaborative efforts for transformative health promotion solutions.
