DCT Abu Dhabi and Rotana Hotel Join Forces to Boost Tourism

The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Rotana Hotel Management Corp have entered into a partnership aimed at attracting more tourists to Abu Dhabi. The collaboration will run until September 2024, offering exclusive promotions and benefits to enhance the visitor experience.

Abu Dhabi [UAE], August 16 (ANI/WAM): The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Rotana Hotel Management Corp have signed an agreement aimed at boosting tourism in the emirate through a series of exclusive promotions and benefits. This partnership will be in effect until September 2024 and will focus on attracting more visitors to key attractions such as Louvre Abu Dhabi, The National Aquarium, and Qasr Al Watan.

The collaboration is part of DCT Abu Dhabi's comprehensive Tourism Strategy 2030, which targets expanding hotel room availability from 34,000 in 2023 to 52,000 by 2030. The strategy also aims to increase annual visitor numbers from nearly 24 million in 2023 to 39.3 million by 2030 and elevate the tourism sector's GDP contribution from approximately AED 49 billion in 2023 to AED 90 billion annually by 2030.

Abdulla Yousuf, International Operations Director for DCT Abu Dhabi, highlighted the emirate's appeal to international travelers, while Philip Barnes, CEO of Rotana Hotel Management Corp, emphasized their mutual goal to establish Abu Dhabi as a top global destination. Both organizations have a history of collaboration, including various promotional initiatives.
