Indian Embassy in Nepal marks World Hindi Day

Indian Embassy in Nepal on Thursday released two Hindi books, including Nepali translation of 51 poems of late former Indian prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, to mark the World Hindi Day.

Indian Embassy, Kathmandu in association with Central Hindi Department, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu organised a programme attended by prominent poets who also recited their poems in Hindi and Nepali on the occasion.

Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Rabindra Adhikari and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri were also present.

During the programme, Puri read out the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Two Hindi books were released by Adhikari and Puri which included Hindi translation of Aadikavi Bhanubhakt Acharya's collection of poems and Nepali translation of 51 poems of Vajpayee.
