Austrian Chancellor Kurz says, possibility to mend points to avoid hard Brexit

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said on Wednesday that there were certain issues that could be discussed with Britain to prevent a hard Brexit but he insisted that the withdrawal deal would not be renegotiated.

"Regarding the future relations ... there is, of course, the possibility of further defining certain points if this helps to avoid a hard Brexit scenario", Kurz told a news conference in Vienna. "What we now expect from Britain is clarity over which scenario they want, what they see as an option to avoid a disorderly Brexit," he said.
