Pope Francis, who is steadily recovering, had a restful night, as confirmed by the Vatican Press Office on Tuesday morning. The Pope is continuing his treatment, including physical therapy for breathing and mobility, while keeping up with the Roman Curia's Spiritual Exercises via video link.

Reports indicate the Pope spent time in prayer, visiting the chapel to pray, as shared in a Monday update which noted his encouraging health improvements. This has led to a more optimistic outlook, moving beyond a 'guarded' prognosis.

In a show of support, Pope Francis sent prayers to victims of a deadly flood in Argentina's Bahia Blanca and Cerri. Expressing sorrow for the loss of lives and vast destruction, he prayed for comfort for those affected and strength for the recovery efforts.
