Saad Hameed Kayani highlights how even with significant budget allocations, crucial projects falter due to political interference, leaving areas without vital improvements. He observes that assembly members often direct projects to their political allies, leading to subpar quality and an absence of accountability. Such practices have eroded public trust in government spending efficacy.

Standing by the crumbling 'Defence Road', Kayani points out that it remains in a dilapidated state, affecting nearly 30,000 residents who rely on it daily. The road, essential for trade, still lacks basic safety features, posing risks ranging from logistical challenges to life-threatening emergencies, highlighting the broader neglect extending to healthcare and education infrastructure.
