In a gesture emblematic of the strong diplomatic ties between India and the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally welcomed UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan upon his arrival in India on Monday. The airport arrival highlighted the camaraderie between the two leaders, signaling robust bilateral relations.

On the social media platform X, PM Modi expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Went to the airport to welcome my brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. His visit illustrates the importance he attaches to a strong India-UAE friendship." He also shared photographs with the UAE leader, including one where the duo was seen conversing inside a car and another where they shared a warm embrace.

Sheikh Mohamed's brief but significant visit comes during heightened tensions in West Asia, as U.S. President Donald Trump maneuvers for support in forming the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza under the second phase of the Gaza Peace Plan. The UAE President's visit marks his third official trip to India as President, aligning with a series of high-level interactions that underscore the enduring ties and strategic partnership between the nations.
