In the latest escalation of his ongoing battle with the media, US President Donald Trump has sharply criticized several major news organizations for their coverage of the ongoing conflict with Iran. Particularly targeting The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and CNN, Trump accused these outlets of distorting Tehran's military status amid rising tensions.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump harshly criticized their coverage, suggesting that even in the event of Iran's complete military surrender, these organizations would frame it as a victory for the Iranian regime. Trump's rhetoric intensified as he also condemned Democrat opposition and what he described as faction media, asserting that they have 'gone absolutely CRAZY.'

Though Trump did not cite a specific report that triggered his response, he reinforced his long-standing grievances with these outlets over what he perceives to be biased coverage of US foreign policy and national security, particularly regarding Iran. Accusations of 'fake news' and calls for apologies underscore the president's contentious relationship with the press.
