Meeting Russia's Lavrov, Vatican envoy stresses the need for dialogue

​Vatican ‌envoy Paul Richard Gallagher ​met Russian ‌Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on Tuesday ‌and stressed the ‌importance of diplomacy and dialogue during what ⁠he ​called ⁠a difficult time for ⁠international relations.

Gallagher said the world ​needed diplomacy more ⁠than ever. Lavrov and Gallagher ⁠previously ​discussed the conflict in Ukraine ⁠by phone last year.
