Romania had budget deficit of 2.34% GDP at end-July, Finance Ministry says

​Romania's ​consolidated ‌budget posted a ​deficit of ‌2.34% of economic output at end-July, ‌the Finance Ministry said ‌on Monday, compared with a ⁠shortfall ​of ⁠3.99% in the same period ⁠of 2025. In nominal ​terms, the deficit ⁠stood at 48.08 ⁠billion ​lei ($10.60 billion). Romania targets ⁠a deficit of ⁠6.2% ⁠of output this year.
