Eni's Descalzi signs Venezuela oilfield development agreement
The chief executive of Italian energy group Eni on Wednesday signed a deal with Venezuela that makes Eni the operator of oilfield Junin 5 and said the agreement would bring more development for the Latin American country.
"The signing of an oil agreement with Venezuela is the first step towards more development," Eni's CEO Claudio Descalzi said during an event at the Miraflores presidential palace in Caracas.
