Earthquake of magnitude 6.12 strikes Papua New Guinea, GFZ says

​An ‌earthquake of ​magnitude ‌6.12 struck the Papua New ‌Guinea region ‌on Sunday, the German Research ⁠Center ​for ⁠Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The ⁠quake was ​at a depth ⁠of ⁠114 ​km (70.84 miles), GFZ ⁠said.
