US FDA plans move to speed up vape, pouch approvals, WSJ reports

​The US ​Food ‌and Drug ​Administration is expected to ‌announce in coming days a move that would speed up ‌authorizations of vapes ‌and tobacco pouches, the Wall Street Journal reported on ⁠Wednesday, ​citing ⁠people familiar with the matter. The ⁠FDA is expected to ​announce it will revisit ⁠a 2021 rule outlining requirements ⁠for ​new tobacco applications, according to the report.
