Putin hopes Hormuz will be open for shipping, says Iran uranium proposal still valid

​Russian President ‌Vladimir Putin said ​on Thursday he ‌hoped the Strait of Hormuz would be open ‌to shipping and that ‌sanctions on Iran would eventually be lifted.

Putin told ⁠a ​forum ⁠of Russia experts that ⁠Russia's proposal to receive enriched ​uranium from Iran, if ⁠it was removed ⁠from the ​country, remained on the table.
