Czech lower house gives initial approval to wider deficit in 2027 budget

Czech lower house lawmakers gave initial support late on ​Thursday to the 2027 budget, which will widen ​the deficit for a third ‌straight year ​in favour of spending on state wages, roads, healthcare and defence.
