Loud bang heard in Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince

​A loud ‌bang was ​heard in Haiti's capital ‌Port-au-Prince on Monday, according to a Reuters witness. ‌Reuters could not immediately ‌verify the origin, or impact, of the noise.

Tensions ⁠have ​ratcheted ⁠up in the Caribbean ⁠country following the deployment of ​troops from El Salvador ⁠after four Salvadorans from ⁠a ​UN-backed force went missing during ⁠a gang ambush.
