Coyotes retain restricted free agent Crouse

The Arizona Coyotes retained the services of forward Lawson Crouse, as the 22-year-old signed a three-year deal with the club on Tuesday. Crouse was a restricted free agent. Financial terms weren't immediately available.

"We are very pleased to sign Lawson to a multi-year contract," Coyotes general manager John Chayka said in a statement. "He had a very good season last year and really established himself as an NHL power forward. We look forward to having him in our lineup." Crouse scored a career-best 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists) in 81 games last season. He has 38 points (17 goals, 21 assists) in 164 games over parts of three seasons.

Crouse was originally a first-round pick (11th overall) by the Florida Panthers in the 2015 draft. He was traded to Arizona in the summer of 2016.
