Hunter Biden's agreement ends five-year federal investigation, lawyer says

The five-year federal investigation into Hunter Biden has been resolved with agreements on income tax and firearms charges, his lawyer said on Tuesday.

"Hunter believes it is important to take responsibility for these mistakes he made during a period of turmoil and addiction in his life. He looks forward to continuing his recovery and moving forward," Biden's lawyer Christopher Clark said in a statement.
