US State Dept's Sherman speaks with China's ambassador Xie on key bilateral priorities

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman discussed "key priorities" in the U.S.-China relationship and a range of global and regional issues in a call on Tuesday with China's ambassador to the United States, the State Department said.

In the call with Chinese ambassador Xie Feng, Sherman reiterated the importance of maintaining open channels of communication across the full range of issues, the department said in a statement.
