Zelenskiy: Ukraine, Japan agree to begin security guarantees talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Saturday he agreed to begin bilateral talks with Japan over security guarantees at a meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi in Kyiv.

The G7 group of countries, of which Japan is a member, said in July that its members would begin bilateral security guarantees talks with Ukraine.
